Uptides uses AI to analyze and optimize the titles and thumbnails of your YouTube channel's backlog video content to increase engaged views and watch time. Backlog content is by far the biggest asset of any YouTube channel and we help you quickly improve quality.

Once you connect your channel, Uptides finds older videos that are underperforming and proposes new titles and thumbnails for them. Every change waits for your approval unless you turn on auto mode. Each change Uptides makes is listed on your dashboard, and with auto-revert on (the default for new channels), titles that underperform their own history are rolled back automatically (protection and reverts).

No. Testing compares two variants during the same timeframe. Uptides decides which videos need attention next and uploads a new optimized title. We do pre-post comparison to determine the impact of the new title and keep optimizing automatically over time.

You stay in control.

There is no minimum number of videos required to use automatic optimization. We encourage you to optimize as many as you can: the more videos you optimize, the more of your archive we can work on. You may opt to remain on manual approval mode, but you likely won't match what our engine does. You can revert a title at any time, so you retain full control and visibility.

Most customers notice differences within the first 2-3 weeks, sometimes sooner.

Pricing is based on your channel's average monthly engaged views, starting at $29/month. It is a flat monthly fee — we do not take a percentage of your ad revenue. Sponsored channels, multi-channel operations, and similar setups get enterprise pricing depending on need.

Payments are processed via Stripe, using a credit card.

Invoices are issued every 30 days.

You can see the performance of every optimized video in our reporting dashboard as well as a roll up of overall impact.

Yes. We offer discounted annual plans and custom enterprise plans for larger channels.

If you stop:

• Optimizations stop
• Any videos you have optimized are reverted to their original titles and thumbnails
• No future fees are incurred
• You keep all historical gains

There are no penalties or lock-ins.

No. You pay a flat monthly fee for your plan. We never take a percentage of your ad revenue, and we are never placed between you and your YouTube earnings.

Money from YouTube keeps flowing to you exactly as it does today. Uptides does not connect to your AdSense account, and no money passes through us. We bill your card through Stripe, and that is the only payment that moves between us.

Revenue figures you see in Uptides are read from your channel's own YouTube analytics, under the access you gave us, to measure what an optimization did. They are never used to work out what you owe.

We require:

• Manager-level access to your YouTube channel, or higher (on a Brand Account, the Google account you connect with must have the Manager role or above)
• Access to relevant analytics data
• Ability to make title and thumbnail changes through the API so any changes you approve in Uptides are automatically made in YouTube

This access is strictly limited to optimization, measurement, and reporting.

No. Uptides does not own, monetize, or independently manage your channel. You retain full ownership, control, and editorial authority at all times.

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Analyze performance
• Improve optimization recommendations
• Maintain transparent reporting dashboards

It is never sold or reused outside your account.

The assistant

Conversations with the in-app assistant are kept so we can improve its answers. If you ask for a person, or the assistant is unsure it can help, the Uptides team sees your conversation and replies to the email address you give (or your account email if you are signed in).
